Neurodiversity

Nuerodiversity is an umbrella term that encompasses many neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions such as Autism and ADHD. Theses are caused by genetic and environmental factors.  

Neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD can mean that the brain works differently to others, neurotypical. This is easiest to describe by thinking of a neurodivergent brain is using a different computer software than the neurotypical brain.
